GE recalls electric combination microwave and conventional built-in wall ovens.
Ovens under the brand names: GE, GE Profile™ and Kenmore were sold in white, black, bisque and stainless steel at: Department and appliance stores from January 2000 to December 2003 for between $1,500 and $2,000.

Liberty Dollar office raided
The Liberty Dollar is a private currency embodied in minted metal pieces and gold & silver certificates (ALD).
The Evansville-based (Indiana) company is producing a “private voluntary barter currency“.
Federal agents raided the facility this week and confiscated all its property and equipment.

Bank of America stops wholesale lending
Bank of America published yesterday it will exit offering its consumer home mortgages through brokers by the end of 2007.
Result are Bank of America job cuts and lay offs of 700 jobs.
Just on Wednesday the U.S. bank announced cuts of 3000 jobs due to a poor quarter in investment banking.
