New iPod rumors
Apple stock jumped on rumors about a new iPod.
Apple Plans to hold a media event on 5th September and is expected to launch a couple of new products.
The speculation is that Apple is set to announce the launch for the Christmas refresh.

Here I am at the ceramics lab (again!). I am pretending to sip from part of my midterm project. I am making 7 ceramic cat cups that I will slip and glaze or "paint" to represent each of our seven cats. I love them so far. I have one more to make, and then I have to start on my "painting" because any work I want to do on "green" (clay that has not been through any kind of kiln) clay has to be done by this Sunday. Yikes! I'm sick right now, so I am hoping that I can finish what I need to get done by Sunday night... Our final projects are due green on Tuesday afternoon... and so far none of the six cat cups has started cracking... that is a really good sign!
The reason I am not using the handle/tail is because the tail needs to be treated with care at least until it goes through its final glaze firing. I really like the feet on this one... they remind me of Jezebel's feet, kind of!
