Windows Phone shows signs of life while BlackBerry keeps crumbling

Windows Phone is now definitively winning the battle to become the world’s No. 3 mobile operating system. The latest numbers from IDC show that Windows Phone shipments have grown from 4.9 million in the second quarter of 2012 to 8.7 million in 2013, an increase of around 78%.
